About the service

The East Kent Community Drug and Alcohol Service is delivered through RAPt in partnership with Nacro and Rethink Mental Illness. The service helps those who want support to make positive changes – no matter what substance or substances they use.

We offer a wide range of services to help people who live in East Kent to address their issues with drugs and alcohol. The help we provide is unique, depending on the needs of each individual. It ranges from short information and advice sessions, one-to-one counselling and group work, right through to referring people to residential treatment.

We work from five hubs based around East Kent. Each hub offers a service tailored to the needs of the local community:

  • Ashford
  • Canterbury
  • Dover
  • Swale
  • Thanet

If you are interested in finding out more about the East Kent Community Drug and Alcohol Service, please visit any of our hubs. We are also able to offer clinical detoxification services from either drugs or alcohol. Please be aware that a referral to residential detox or community rehab must be discussed with someone from the East Kent Community Drug and Alcohol Service before it can be made.
