For individuals
We can support you and advocate on your behalf if you are having problems with your criminal record.
In the United Kingdom, over 12.3 million people have a criminal record. Many people only commit a crime once, often when they are young, but they struggle to move on because they face ongoing barriers finding work, renting a property, volunteering, travelling abroad, or finding insurance.
We offer people information, advice and guidance on criminal record related issues through our online resources and helpline. This includes helping people understand the rules and their rights when disclosing a criminal record. We can also advocate on people’s behalf if they have been treated unfairly.
With bespoke training and webinars, we also support and advise employers, education providers and other organisations by giving them the confidence to assess and manage risk in relation to criminal records.
