If you’re about to become a young parent you probably have lots of questions about what to do in parenthood. Our Young Parents course has been designed especially for 16-19 year olds and is full of helpful advice on things like childcare and housing. We’ll also help you with your employment skills, so that you can apply for a job when you’re ready.

You’ll be assessed through an assignment.

  • understand more about pregnancy, birth and parenthood
  • have met other mums-to-be
  • know where to get help with childcare and other support services
  • be in a position to apply for further education or training – with a view to getting into work
