We offer a range of homelessness prevention services to various vulnerable groups, including people who have been in contact with the criminal justice system, young families, and care leavers, depending on the programme that your property is selected for.
Nacro will act as the property manager, dealing with tenant queries and ensuring that any potential day-to-day repairs or tenant damage are promptly resolved at no extra cost to you. We are also available to address any queries you have during the lease term.
As a social landlord, we have our own in-house compliance and inspection teams, and our own repair desk and vetted contractors. Yes – we offer anniversary rent increases, based on CPI capped at 5% per year.
We offer rents on a sliding scale between Local Housing Allowance rates and market rates, depending on the property’s quality, location, and which service it is eligible for. Our team will arrange a viewing, after which we can provide you with a rental figure. Please contact us to discuss any specific properties you would like to submit for evaluation.
Nacro will be the tenant for your property. We will use it to house the people we work with under a “licence to occupy’ agreement. We are registered with the regulator of social housing, and have extensive supported housing experience. We are currently sourcing properties for our CAS-2 and Supported Housing Programme.
This is a Ministry of Justice funded programme that provides structured accommodation for individuals that are
released on bail, or serving out 6–12 weeks remaining on their sentence. They are all on tag (electronic monitoring) and assessed as low to medium risk. The aim is to support their reintegration into the community through managed, secure housing.
Supported Housing is part of our own homeless prevention model, allowing tenants (including people who have been in contact with the criminal justice system, young care leavers, and others at risk of homelessness) to live in the properties for up to two years while developing the skills needed to move into permanent accommodation.
You can relax knowing that our offering remains exactly the same, and will not be impacted by the Renter’s Right’s Bill. We offer the security of knowing that you are protected from any uncertainties, and your property is safe with us.
To submit a property to us, please reach out to our team at leasingenquiries@nacro.org.uk and we will guide you in the next steps.
