‘To My Future Self’

We recently held a Nacro Education-wide writing competition for our learners where they were asked to submit a letter written to their future self.

Our judges – Campbell Robb (Chief Executive), Anne Frost (Trustee) and Lisa Capper (Director of Education & Skills) – were genuinely blown away by the entries submitted. They had a really difficult task to identify a winner from the 39 submissions.

We are delighted to reveal our winner… Bethanie from Sandwell (see entry below) winning a voucher as her prize! 13 runners up were also chosen, who will receive a voucher too.

All 39 learners who entered the competition received a personalised letter from the panel, along with an achievement certificate.

Jay Gardiner Lead Tutor at Nacro Longton, said: “The competition was a great way to open their eyes to their future, and what they need to do to reach their personal goals in life.”
