Working closely with the Sheffield community
We work within the Sheffield community, establishing partnerships and helping bring the local area closer together. Because of our partnerships, every learner has the chance to take part in valuable work experience and engage with a number of local businesses.
Our learners champion social causes, starting a clothes bank allowing the community to donate professional clothing for other learners to use for job interviews, work placements, and more.
Shining a light on our courses
At Nacro Sheffield Education Centre, our learners have worked on creating a wellbeing garden for all to grow plants and vegetables, and as a place where people can relax during their break.
Our catering and hospitality learners use the vegetables that grow as part of their cooking. They prepare food for other learners and staff for lunch daily, free of charge.
