Alternative education for students aged 14-16

We offer specialist vocational education and training for students aged 14-16. Our Get Set! courses are crafted to build confidence and develop self-esteem while ensuring that students gain the skills and qualifications they need for the future.

What is a Get Set! course?

Our Get Set! courses accelerate your learning and enable you to identify and make progress towards your aspirations. We combine vocational learning with essential English and mathematics qualifications, enriching experiences and workplace encounters to equip you for career success. Crafted alongside industry, taught by experts.

Nacro Education study programme

14-16 subject pathways

We collaborate closely with local schools to ensure that all students explore their interests and realise their potential. We offer Entry Level 3 or Level 1 vocational unit, normally delivered one morning a week, covering a wide range of subjects, including:

• Child, Health, and Social Care
• Hair and Beauty
• Horticulture
• Hospitality and Catering
• Motor vehicle
• Music
• Creative Media
• Sport

Students have the opportunity to undertake Functional Skills in English and Maths to ensure that they achieve the grades required to progress in higher levels of study or employment.

Developing your employability

For those looking to start their career, our Get Set! courses are designed to develop employability skills to ensure students meet the requirements for the workplace.
