Our successes
Nacro promotes a caring and aspirational culture that helps learners to make good progress, achieve well and take positive next steps in their education and employment. Qualification achievement rates are very strong, 8 out 10 qualifications were achieved in 2018/19, and substantially higher than sector averages.
Our partnerships
We have worked with Middlesbrough employers for the last 10 years. This way, local employers get to enrich their workforce at the same time as our learners get invaluable work experience, for the long-term benefit of the community around us.
Nationally, over 95% of Nacro students have taken part in work experience. Combined with a reference from the employer and their qualifications, this makes our learners job-ready. We have partnerships with 160 employers across a broad range of sectors and recently were selected as a model of best practice by the Learning and Work Institute for our engagement work.
