Nacro Education Stoke Centre Opening

A fresh start for students: Nacro Education centre opens in Stoke-on-Trent

Published:

We’re proud to announce the official opening of our brand-new Nacro Education Stoke-on-Trent Centre, which opened its doors on 29th September 2025.

The new centre provides young people across Stoke-on-Trent and the wider Staffordshire area with access to high-quality, supportive education. It reflects our continued commitment in helping every student gain the skills, confidence, and qualifications they need to progress into further education, training, or employment.

A modern space designed for success

Our new Stoke-on-Trent Centre has been designed with students in mind- featuring modern classrooms, specialist learning areas, and dedicated spaces for hands-on training. It’s a welcoming environment where young people can thrive, learn, and prepare for their futures.

Located in a more accessible, central area of Stoke-on-Trent, the new site makes it easier than ever for students to reach us and access the support they need.

Upgraded facilities include state-of-the-art catering and construction workshops, larger teaching spaces for all courses, and improved resources to support a wider range of learning styles. The centre also introduces new courses and additional levels to courses, providing more progression routes for students.

The new building is amazing! The catering kitchen is bigger and better, and there's now spaces for students to enjoy dinner and free time as well.

Courses and support tailored to every student

At Nacro Education Stoke-on-Trent, we offer a wide range of courses for young people aged 16–19 (and up to 24 with an EHCP). Students can choose from a variety of GET SET! courses, including Construction, Health and Social Care, and more all while building essential skills in English, maths, and employability.

Our students also benefit from:

  • Real-world work experience with local employers
  • Enrichment activities and community projects
  • Personalised support from dedicated tutors and mentors
  • A focus on confidence, communication, and teamwork skills

New additions this year include additional levels across all courses, the introduction of GET SET! for Work, and a new Life Skills course, supporting students in developing independence and practical life skills.

A community-driven approach

The new centre has been developed in partnership with the local community. Nacro Education Stoke-on-TrentΒ works closely with local businesses, community organisations, and local authorities to ensure students have access to meaningful experiences and opportunities to make a positive impact.
