CEO Campbell Robb leaving Nacro.

Goodbye to our Chief Executive, Campbell Robb

Published:

We are saying goodbye to our Chief Executive, Campbell Robb, who is leaving the organisation today (03.10.2025) after six years in post. Campbell has led Nacro through a period of significant external change including a global pandemic and a cost-of-living crisis and leaves the charity in a strong and stable position, focused on putting the people we support at the heart of what we do as well as delivering real impact.ย  The board is currently recruiting a Chief Executive. In the meantime, Helen Dyson, Director of Support and Advice Services at Nacro, will be interim Chief Executive, supported by the board and her Executive Leadership Team colleagues.

Campbell Robb:

โ€œAs announced previously, Friday 3 October will be my last day at Nacro. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Nacro and am proud of everything that has been achieved over the last six years. None of this would have been possible without our highly engaged, knowledgeable and supportive board of trustees, and my colleagues who have been consistently driven by our values and making a difference for our service users and students.

โ€œWhen I first arrived at Nacro I immediately felt at home and that feeling has never left me. It is rare that as a CEO you feel so much part of a team and I want to thank our board and all my colleagues for that. Next year, Nacro will celebrate its 60th anniversary and Iโ€™m confident that Nacro will continue to help thousands more people for another 60 years and beyond.โ€

Nick Hardwick, Chair of Nacro’s Trustees:

โ€œCampbell has been a fantastic Chief Executive of Nacro, and the board canโ€™t thank you enough. Among many other achievements, youโ€™ve overseen a fantastic service user involvement strategy, led impactful campaigns put to government, as well as overseeing critical investments in our people, buildings and systems. Last but not least youโ€™ve developed our diversity and inclusion strategy to empower staff and service users from different backgrounds. Youโ€™ve been a great leader, team player and most importantly have always seen the people we support as individuals with their own stories, where some only see their past. You will be deeply missed by the Nacro community, and we wish you the best in future endeavours.”
