EVENT: A Justice System Fit for the Future with David Lammy & Sophie Linden

On Thursday 4th March, 3:30pm – 5:00pm, we will be hosting a virtual panel event, with the Shadow Secretary of State for Justice and Shadow Lord Chancellor, Rt Hon David Lammy MP and London’s Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, Sophie Linden, and Nacro’s Resettlement Broker Lavinia Aleri.

This event serves as a follow-up to our 2020, A Justice System Fit for the Future, in which Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, Rt Hon Robert Buckland MP, looked at the learnings from the first wave of the pandemic and what these could mean for the future of the UK’s justice system.

This discussion will focus on the Labour Party’s view on re-offending and the support required by prison leavers, the impact of COVID-19 and the upcoming probation reunification. Register for tickets through our Eventbrite page.
