Closure of Nacro Education and Skills Centres in response to Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak
Following the recent Government directive on closure of schools and colleges, we have taken the decision to close Nacro’s Education and Skills centres from Friday 20th March until further notice. We have been planning for this situation and we have therefore been able to put in place information and resources to remotely support student progress. We are encouraging all students to participate and to stay in contact, and for parents and carers to help facilitate. This will have real benefits for when the provision is re-opened and students are able to move forward with their assessments and progression to the next stage.
We are working with local partners and the local authorities to ensure those in need are catered for and that we can support partners where we are able to do so. Information for those entitled to free school meals will be issued by the government and we will making provision as necessary.
