Armed Forces Covenant: A promise by the nation to make sure that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are recognised for their contribution to our protection and are treated fairly.
We recognise the huge sacrifices made by ex-service men and women and see it as our obligation to support the resettlement of the Armed Forces Community wherever there is a Nacro service.
We are committed to working with the Armed Forces Community and will continue to develop services that support ex-service men and women to rebuild their lives.
To reinforce our commitments we have signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant.
We have pledged to uphold the key principles of the Covenant by ensuring that no member of the armed forces community experiences disadvantage in our services. As an Armed Forces Friendly organisation, we will work with veterans to learn about the significant challenges they face and will use our national platform and wide geographical footprint to share our learning and to co-produce appropriate services.
You can see the details of our pledge Armed Forces Covenant Signed by JD 170317.
As our work develops with the Armed Forced Community we will update the Nacro Armed Forces Covenant.
