Following changes to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, we wanted to ensure that we were clear about the implications on our recruitment processes. Upon recommendation, we invited Nacro to deliver training to selected members of our recruitment team. The feedback from this session was excellent and it’s clear that our recruitment team now feel much more confident in understanding and applying the changes in legislation. As an added bonus, completely free-of-charge, Nacro’s Employer Advice Service still provides us with expert advice if we ever need help with understanding and interpreting criminal record information in more complex cases.
