About the service

Nacro helps offenders to resettle into the community by providing support with housing-related issues such as managing their tenancies.

Nacro’s Rhyl Supported Housing Project provides temporary supported housing for up to 12 months to offenders and ex-offenders aged over the age of 16.

What do we offer?

A self contained furnished property with support, which includes the following;

  • Help to responsibly manage a tenancy for the long term.
  • Advice on benefits, budgeting, paying bills, managing debt and dealing with paperwork.
  • Help to access employment, training, education and voluntary work.
  • Help applying for grants and other funding.
  • Advice on maintaining good relationships with neighbours and overcoming social isolation.
  • A tailored support plan designed to meet an individual’s needs and increase their levels of self-confidence and independence.
  • Help to access longer term move on accommodation.


Apart from rent, there is no cost to the service user for using this programme. This is an initiative funded through the Denbighshire Council’s Supporting People programme.
