Anti Social Behaviour Policy (2024)

Nacro is committed to responding and resolving issues of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) that is reported to it by both its own Occupants and the wider communities within which Nacro works. There are clear regulatory requirements for Registered Providers regarding recording and responding to ASB and this policy sets out Nacro’s response to ASB.
Repairs and Maintenance Policy (Updated September 2023)

The purpose of this policy is to detail how property repair is undertaken in Nacro, in line with financial, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

This policy is to define how damp and mould is identified, diagnosed, and responded to in Nacro premises, where Nacro employee, service users and volunteers have a presence.
Nacro Housing Compensation Policy (Updated February 2024)

Nacro is committed to consistently provide an excellent service to all our service users. However, we recognise that there are times when our service fails to meet the high standards we have set. If we fail to meet our own service standards or provide a poor service, we aim to put things right. At times this may involve paying compensation. We recognise that our service user’s support needs may mean that they are additionally adversely affected by any failure to meet expected service standards.
Ex-service personnel in the criminal justice system: Barriers to identification and uptake of support (main report)

In August 2021, Nacro, in partnership with the University of Northampton (UON), was commissioned by Forces in Mind Trust (FiMT) to conduct research into the barriers to identification and uptake of support for ex-service personnel and their families in the criminal justice systems (CJS) of England, Wales, and Scotland. This research aims to increase knowledge in this area to enable policy makers and service deliverers to better identify and meet the needs of this group, with the intention of reducing the likelihood of ex-service personnel entering the CJS or reoffending.

Nacro Justice ExChange: Mental Health in Prison

The report is the second from the Nacro Justice ExChange, a network of people who have been in contact with the criminal justice system and received support from Nacro. This briefing examines:
- the level of mental health issues in prison and how people in prison who have mental health issues are identified
- the impact that the prison environment can have on people’s mental health
- the support currently available in prison and the impact all this can have on people’s ability to turn their lives around on release.
