Provision of services to improve the employment prospects of offenders

NOMS are commissioning the second phase of ESF (European Social Fund)-funded services for offenders. Nacro and other potential prime contractors submitted a PQQ in early April. Delivery is scheduled to commence in early 2011.

The overarching aim of these new services will be to provide greater cohesion between offenders and specific skills and employment services in order to support the transition to mainstream employment and skills provision.

We are looking for sub-contactors among our partners and friends who have a specialist expertise in supporting offenders. Please tell us what you could bring to our partnership and how we could work together to support our service users.
