About the service
Nacro Bradford Army Preparation Programme helps young people who are not in education or work to learn new skills and get qualifications. The service is designed to prepare young people to move on into further education, apprenticeships or work, by offering them training and qualifications in areas including army preparation, functional skills, and personal and social development.
We provide:
- clear information and guidance on job and training options
- support to help overcome barriers that are stopping people from working or training
- support to improve employability skills, including with gaining qualifications in functional skills (English, Maths and ICT),
- personal and social development as well as subject specific and health & safety training and certification
- help finding opportunities including work placements and college courses
- an army preparation course
