About the service
Nacro Walsall Floating Housing Support helps people who have been involved with crime, or who are at risk of becoming involved in crime, to access good supported housing and to stay out of trouble. The service is designed to support a range of people including those leaving prison, ex-offenders, young people who have been looked after by local authorities and people with mental health problems.
We provide:
- supported accommodation
- resettlement plans tailored to individual needs
- training and support to develop independent living skills
- help with claiming benefits, accessing services and finding work
- support to access and maintain tenancies in independent accommodation
- close partnerships with other agencies such as probation and the police
What will I get out of it?
- support to find housing, manage tenancies and to live independently
- help to address your specific needs
- advice and guidance on life issues including housing and education
