About the service

Nacro Sandwell Schools Provision helps young people who have disengaged with school to return to learning or move on to work. The service is designed to offer alternatives to mainstream education, by running flexible programmes that provide the most appropriate package for each individual.

We provide:

  • work and assessment processes based on practical and emotional skills
  • the option to return to mainstream learning or to move on to other learning opportunities such as Education 2 Employment

What will I get out of it?

  • if you are a Key Stage 4 pupil you will get the opportunity to sample the working environment and to broaden your personal life experience
  • you can participate in vocational training and learn new skills of real benefit when you do leave school
  • you can gain a qualification in the functional skills of maths and english, enabling you to move on to further education, training or employment
