About the service

Nacro Sandwell Positive Activities for Young People helps 13-17 year olds to discover alternatives to offending and antisocial behaviour. The service focuses on areas with high levels of offending, truancy and social exclusion, by providing a combination of leisure-based activities and tailored support.

We provide:

  • activities such as DJ workshops and football coaching
  • information and advice about accessing services, benefits, education and training
  • help in identifying issues and concerns, and with finding solutions to them
  • group work, mentoring and individual support

What will I get out of it?

  • access to qualifications in personal and social development
  • the chance to take part in fun activities such as trips to theme parks, the cinema, bowling and other activities to help them with their personal development
  • help and support to explore education and training options
  • advice and help on accessing other services specific to your needs
  • the chance to meet other people in similar situations
