About the service
Nacro Sandwell Positive Activities for Young People helps 13-17 year olds to discover alternatives to offending and antisocial behaviour. The service focuses on areas with high levels of offending, truancy and social exclusion, by providing a combination of leisure-based activities and tailored support.
We provide:
- activities such as DJ workshops and football coaching
- information and advice about accessing services, benefits, education and training
- help in identifying issues and concerns, and with finding solutions to them
- group work, mentoring and individual support
What will I get out of it?
- access to qualifications in personal and social development
- the chance to take part in fun activities such as trips to theme parks, the cinema, bowling and other activities to help them with their personal development
- help and support to explore education and training options
- advice and help on accessing other services specific to your needs
- the chance to meet other people in similar situations
