About the service
Nacro Sandwell Big Lottery Activities for Young People project helps 13-17 year olds to explore alternatives to offending and antisocial behaviour. The service focuses on areas with high levels of offending, truancy and social exclusion, by providing a combination of leisure-based activities and tailored support.
We provide:
- activities such as DJ workshops and football coaching
- information and advice about accessing services, benefits, education and training
- help in identifying issues and concerns, and with finding solutions to them
- group work, mentoring and individual support
What will I get out of it?
- qualifications in personal and social development
- the chance to take part in a range of leisure activities
- an opportunity to discover education and training opportunities open to you
- support with everyday issues such as accessing the services you need and with claiming benefits
