About the service

Nacro Sandwell Apprenticeships helps young people to gain valuable experience in the workplace and work towards a recognised qualification. The service is designed to help young people achieve their potential and develop their talents and abilities, by playing a key role in the organisation and learning on the job. The apprenticeship areas we work in are customer service, business admin, engineering, child care and development and motor vehicle maintenance.

We provide:

  • training
  • regular appraisals and support
  • support with gaining qualifications such as NVQs, technical certificates or functional skills

What will I get out of it?

Young people who access our apprenticeship programme have access to full apprenticeship framework qualifications.

They are supported in finding and keeping their work placements and receive mentoring to gain confidence, experience and succeed in their chosen interest.

The next steps after this course are employment or further education.
