Nacro Dudley Kickstart Life

Project type: Education and employment advice

Eligibility:

  • Learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • Young offenders.
  • Young people at risk of being influenced into non-participation/offender behaviour/drug and substance abuse through gang culture.
  • Drug and alcohol users (including other health related issues).
  • Teenage parents (or teenage parents to be).
  • Young carers.
  • Those leaving care.
  • Those who have been previously excluded from school pre-16.
  • Those who drop out of education, employment and training and consequently rejoin the NEET register.
  • Under represented groups, when compared to the demographics in their geographical area.

Nacro Dudley SOUND Project

Project type: Foundation training

Eligibility:

The project is open to anyone:

  • not in education
  • available for a minimum of 16 hours a week
  • committed to getting a job, apprenticeship or going to college

Project type: Apprenticeships

Eligibility:

Any young person who has level one in English and Maths and some experience in the vocational areas mentioned above can apply to join the programme. Interviews and assessments are done on application to determine suitability.
