About the service
Nacro Army Preparation Course helps young people to prepare for entry into employment with the UK Army. The service is designed to provide young people with information and equip them with skills they need to pass the army selection process.
We provide:
- level 1 training and qualifications in sport, literacy and numeracy
- leadership skills and team building
- team sports
- partnership working with local youth services and the army
- support in completing the application process
- fitness training up to army standards
What will I get out of it?
- increased chance of successfully passing the army selection process
- increased confidence and self-esteem
- opportunities to develop self-discipline
- the chance to realise potential both physically and mentally
- accredited qualifications such as level 1 literacy and numeracy and the bronze Duke of Edinburgh award
