About the service

Nacro Bramlings House helps vulnerable young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to access good supported housing. The service is designed to support people who are aged 16-24 and have been assessed as homeless by the local authority and young people who have been looked after by local authorities

We provide:
* a resettlement plan tailored to individual needs
* support to develop the skills for independent living.
* help with claiming benefits, accessing services and finding work
* support to access and maintain tenancies in independent accommodation

What will I get out of it?

  • support to find a permanent home
  • support to manage and sustain a tenancy
  • preventing or reducing offending behaviour
  • improved health and self-esteem
  • access to help to, for instance, get a job or qualifications; access benefits; get other support you need
  • help with making, mending or maintaining friendships and relationships, establishing social skills and access to local community organisations.
  • help with your home management and life skills including domestic skills, such as cooking and cleaning, and security and safety in the home.
