About the service

Nacro Services Stockton-on-Tees helps young people who are not in education, training or work to learn new skills and get qualifications. The service is designed to prepare young people to move on into further education, apprenticeships or work by delivering training and qualifications in areas including music production, construction, English, maths, IT and personal and social skills development.

We provide:

  • clear information and guidance on job and training options
  • support to help overcome barriers that are stopping people from working or training
  • support to improve employability skills, including with gaining qualifications such as NVQs, Technical Certificates or Key Skills
  • help finding opportunities including work placements and college courses
  • access to the Education Maintenance Allowance

  • increased confidence, self esteem and motivation
  • English, maths and ICT skills
  • improved communication, social and employability skills
  • information and guidance on job and training options
  • support to help overcome barriers that are stopping people from working or training
  • help finding opportunities including work placements and college courses

Type of service: Foundation training

Participants must be between: 14 and 24

young people who are at risk offending, at risk of being excluded from school or are NEET.
