About the service

Nacro Brighton Switch On Project is a four-week project that helps 14-16 year olds who have disengaged with school to return to learning or move on to work.

We provide:

  • activities designed to inspire and re-engage young people such as sports and arts projects (for example, grafitti art, music and bowling)
  • a focus on developing personal skills, self-esteem, self-development skills and community awareness
  • practical help with accessing further support and services
  • access to a mentor

What will I get out of it?

  • An awareness of the importance of staying in school, completing exams and gaining qualifications
  • Help with progression into higher education
  • Stronger creative skills
