About the service
Nacro Brighton Switch On Project is a four-week project that helps 14-16 year olds who have disengaged with school to return to learning or move on to work.
We provide:
- activities designed to inspire and re-engage young people such as sports and arts projects (for example, grafitti art, music and bowling)
- a focus on developing personal skills, self-esteem, self-development skills and community awareness
- practical help with accessing further support and services
- access to a mentor
What will I get out of it?
- An awareness of the importance of staying in school, completing exams and gaining qualifications
- Help with progression into higher education
- Stronger creative skills
- Increased self-esteem
- The chance to make a positive contribution to the community
