About the service

Nacro Brighton Entry to Employment Project provides work-based learning for young people aged 16-18 with an emphasis on vocational training, personal and social development and English, maths and ICT (functional skills).

We provide:
* vocational activities such as construction, childcare, art and music production
* imaginative activities designed to inspire and excite participants through formal and informal learning
* work and assessment processes based on practical and emotional skills
* the option to return to mainstream learning or to move on to other learning opportunities eg, apprenticeships and further education

What will I get out of it?

  • Level 1 qualifications in construction, childcare, art, music production, literacy, numeracy and ICT delivered in a supportive and non-judgmental environment
  • Increased self-esteem and confidence
  • The opportunity to make friends
