About the service

Nacro Ipswich Youth East helps young people who are not in education, training or work.
We are running 6 x taster courses to tempt young people back into training. Young people are supported throughout the process to help them achieve and progress in to further positive activities. Many learners progress from Youth East on to our Foundation Learning programme. We provide:

  • the chance to achieve a level 1 key skills qualification
  • taster courses in Hairdressing, Motorbike mechanics, Childcare and Nail artistry.
  • a driving theory course and the bronze arts award
  • support to move on to further training or employment

What will I get out of it?

  • increased confidence and self-esteem
  • qualifications
  • increased social skills and social awareness.
