About the service
Nacro Ipswich Entry 2 Employment Programme helps young people who are not in education or work to learn new skills and get qualifications.
The service is designed to prepare young people to move on into further education, apprenticeships or work by offering them training and qualifications.
We provide:
- clear information and guidance on job and training options
- support to help overcome barriers that are stopping people from working or training
- support to improve employability skills, including with gaining qualifications such as NVQs, technical certificates or Key Skills
- help finding opportunities, including work placements and college courses
What will I get out of it?
- a variety of skills both academic and personal
- unit credits or full awards at L1 in Personal and Social Development, Literacy, Numeracy, ICT and vocational areas such as mechanics or retail.
- key skills such as working with others, problem solving and improving own learning.
