About the service

Nacro Shropshire Turnaround Foundation Training Provision helps young people who are not in education or work to learn new skills and get qualifications. The service is designed to prepare young people to move on into further education, apprenticeships or work, by offering them training and qualifications in areas including music production, construction, English, maths and IT, and personal and social development.

We provide:

• clear information and guidance on job and training options
• support to help overcome barriers that are stopping people from working or training
• support to improve employability skills, including with gaining qualifications such as NVQs, technical certificates or key skills
• help finding opportunities including work placements and college courses

Participants must be between: 16 and 19

• young people on the NEET register (Not in Education, Employment or Training)
• those aged 16-19
