About the service
Nacro Shropshire Springboard Provision helps young people who have disengaged with school to return to learning and to identify potential career paths. The service is designed to offer alternatives to full-time mainstream education by running flexible programmes that provide the most appropriate package for each individual.
We provide:
- imaginative activities designed to inspire and excite participants through formal and informal learning
- two days a week work experience placement, after an eight week in-house course
- routes to return to mainstream learning as well as opportunities to gain relevant work-based qualifications
What will I get out of it?
- the chance to explore and work towards work-based vocational qualifcations
- guidance and support to help you find work
- help with job applications, CV writing, personal and social skills and communicatino skills
- a boost to your self-estemm
