About the service

Nacro Shropshire's Pathways/Schools Project helps young people aged 14-16 who are at risk of becoming, or who are permanently excluded from school. The service is designed to provide a structured progamme of learning, leading to recognised qualifications and a clear post-16 progression route in to education, training or employment.

We provide:

• flexible programmes that provide the most appropriate package for each individual
• one to one support where required
• personal and basic skills training to improve employability
• specialist information, advice and guidance
• clear information and guidance on job and further education/training options

What will I get out of it?

• a chance to work towards and gain a variety of qualifications
• the chance to work with a designated keyworker to support you with any emotional or social issues you may have
• access to ounselling and specialist support services
• the opportunity to boost your personal and social development, and to discover pathways in to mainstream learning that may be of real interest to you
