About the service

Nacro Shropshire Department of Health Volunteering Project enables individuals aged 18 and over to engage in constructive activities and to develop new skills through volunteering on its projects. The service is designed to increase individuals' confidence and self esteem while also giving them the opportunity to gain new skills, work experience and qualifications.

We provide:

• a wide variety of volunteering opportunities within Nacro services and the community as a whole
• support for service users in thinking through the options available to them
• training and ongoing development opportunities
• advice in transferring from volunteering to paid work
