About the service
Nacro Newark Foyer and Dispersed Housing helps young people to access good supported housing.
Project workers assist service users through a resettlement support programme to build up skills to move on to more independent living. The support offered includes budgeting, accessing welfare benefits, increasing education, employment opportunities, accessing health services, help to develop skills around the house.
We provide:
- a resettlement plan tailored to individual needs
- training and support to develop independent living skills
- help with claiming benefits, accessing services and finding work

- support to manage and sustain a tenancy
- reduced risk of re-offending
- improved health and self-esteem
- increased chances of getting a job
- the chance to gain qualifications
