About the service
Nacro Ash Villas Supported Housing project is a 24-hour project providing temporary supported accommodation to 16-25 year olds who are offenders or are at risk of offending. Tenants can stay at Ash Villas for a maximun of two years, however many move on before this. In all, there are 25 bed spaces at Ash Villas consisting of two four-bed hostels and 17 cluster self-contained properties.
We provide:
- a resettlement support package tailored to individual needs
- support to develop independent living skills
- help with claiming benefits and accessing services
- support to maintain tenancies
What will I get out of it?
- 24-hour access to support staff
- support and help to access the services you need, e.g. other housing providers, YOT, Probation, benefits, Connexions, Social Care, Doctors, Compass, Head to Head
- a chance to build your self confidence
- support and guidance with everything from cooking and budgeting to moving on to your own accommmodation
- help and support to decrease/stop your drug or alcohol use
- access to education, training and other positive activities
