About the service

Nacro Amber Valley/Erewash Floating Support helps people living in their own local authority or housing association flat or in lodgings. The service is designed to offer flexible support by providing home visits by a project worker who can offer information and support in a wide range of areas tailored to the individual’s needs. We provide:

• support to service users to remain safe in their home.
• information on accessing services including benefits, housing, healthcare, leisure activities
• assistance with budgeting and domestic skills
• advice on employment, training and voluntary work opportunities
• emotional support
