About the service
Nacro Liverpool Sports Project provides young people with positive activities in order to develop their self-esteem and help them to discover new interests and skills. In particular, it helps disaffected young people find alternatives to offending and antisocial behaviour.
We provide:
- structured activities in areas such as football coaching
- training on health, anger management and the consequences of offending
- one-to-one support and individually tailored work
- links with schools, community groups, youth offending teams and other agencies
What will I get out of it?
• improved physical and mental health
• a safe environment away from situations where you may get into trouble
• a positive sporting opportunity to enjoy and achieve
• the chance to make a positive contribution to the local community
• the opportunity to achieve football coaching badges at levels 2 and 3
