About the service
Nacro Liverpool Moves Project helps young people who have disengaged with school or are at risk of doing so to return to learning or move on to work. The service is designed to offer alternatives to mainstream education by running flexible programmes that provide the most appropriate package for each individual.
We provide:
- imaginative activities designed to inspire and excite participants through formal and informal learning eg, producing football banners for display in the Tate Modern Gallery
- issue-based sessions eg, drugs, sexual health, crime and consequences, and anger management
- the option to return to mainstream learning or to move on to other learning opportunities
- help with personal and social development - attendance, timekeeping, handling money, personal hygiene etc
What will I get out of it?
- Nationally recognised qualifications
- Help to identify any barriers which are holding you back and support in finding solutions to overcome them
