About the service

Nacro Supported Housing in Tower Hamlets helps ex-offenders to move on with their lives. The service is designed to support anyone with previous convictions to find work, education and housing. It offers a sustained focus on tackling the causes of the offending, by getting them engaged in employment and training in vocational subjects and skills as a means of achieving this. The service works with young and adult offenders most of whom are on a community order to resettle back into the community.

We provide:

  • comprehensive client-led needs assessments linked into partnership working with other agencies
  • tailored support plans that compliment statutory care plans
  • advice and support around welfare benefits
  • support in developing independent living skills
  • support to access education, training and employment opportunities
  • support to move on successfully to independent accommodation
  • support to address and manage offending behaviour
  • support to access community services to address identified support needs, e.g. mental health / substance misuse
  • accommodation in a supportive environment
