About the service
Nacro Boston and Skegness Housing Project helps homeless people to access good supported housing and stay out of trouble. The service is designed to support high-risk offenders, those at risk of offending and those with mental health problems.
We provide:
- a resettlement support programme
- support to develop independent living skills such as budgeting
- help with claiming welfare benefits, accessing services and finding education and employment opportunities.
Where appropriate, referrals are made to specialist agencies to assist with the resettlement plan.
What will I get out of it?
- the knowhow to manage and sustain a tenancy
- information on how to live a healthy lifestyle and reduce your risk of reoffending
- information on how to maximise your income through money management and accessing benefits
- increased self-esteem from rebuilding relationships with family and friends, attending social activities and getting involved in the running of the scheme
