About the service
Nacro Greater Manchester 9-5 Housing Team, helps single homeless people to access good supported housing to enable them to move on to their own tenancies. The service is designed to support a range of single homeless people, including thoes leaving prison and ex-offenders.
We provide:
- a resettlement plan tailored to individual needs
- training and support to develop independent living skills
- help with claiming benefits, accessing services and finding work
- support to access and maintain tenancies in independent accommodation

- emotional and practical support
- access to other professionals and support agencies who can help and support you
- help and support to ensure you can live an independent life o empower the individual and promote independence
- help to secure move on accommodation

- those aged between 16 and 64
- those homeless and in need of single person accommodation
- offenders, ex-offenders or those at risk of offending

How do I apply?
- via our Referral Worker who is based at:
567a Barlow Moor Rd
Chorlton
Manchester
M21 8AE
The forms can be completed by the applicant or a referring agency e.g. Probation, Manchester City Council Housing Teams, Salvation Army. Application need to be on either a Nacro application form or a Probation Service SHAF form. The Referral Worker will respond within 7 working days to acknowledge receipt of the referral Each referral will be assessed against the scheme's eligibility criteria Those referrals meeting the criteria will be invited for interview at the project office Each Applicant (and referring agent, where permission has been given) will be informed of the decision on their application
