About the service

Nacro Family Intervention Parenting Support Project helps parents to care for their children effectively and to avoid offending. The service is designed to support parents with children at risk of offending, by helping them develop parenting skills, and through support in overcoming challenges.

We provide:

  • engaging activities to help develop parenting skills
  • information and support in accessing services and benefits
  • one-to-one and group support to help tackle specific problems
  • links with other agencies

What will I get out of it?

  • a chance to achieve the 5 Every Child Matters key outcomes for parents and their children. These are: Be Healthy; Stay Safe; Enjoy and Achieve; Achieve Economic Well-Being; Make a Positive Contribution
  • the support, help and guidance you need to become a better parent and to prevent your children from offending
  • access to help and support from other agencies

Participants must be between: 8 and 16

Parents or carers with children aged between 8 and 16 who live in Cheetham and Crumpsall
