About the service

Nacro Chapel Street 24 Hour Housing Project helps single homeless young people to access good supported housing and to access more permanent and/or lower supported housing. The service is designed to support young people and enable them to develop the necessary skills for independent living.

We provide:

  • training and support to develop independent living skills
  • help with claiming benefits, accessing services and finding work
  • support to access and maintain tenancies in independent accommodation

What will I get out of it?

  • contact with Connexions and other support agencies
  • advice and support from Nacro staff and Housing Options in securing more permanent accommodation
  • information on local amenities and services in the area
  • access to mediation services provided by Housing Options to re-establish relationships
  • advice and support with maintaining your own tenancy and basic life skills
  • assistance with benefit applications
