About the service

Nacro Bury MOVES helps young people who have disengaged with school to return to learning.

We provide:

• excluded Year 11s with the opportunity to develop Motor Vehicle skills
• a chance to engage young people in alternative provision and to promote positive education
• a structured learning environment within the motor vehicle workshop
• practical and emotional support.

What will I get out of it?

• the chance to participate in positive activities, especially in motor vehicle mechanics
• support to improve your attendance and punctuality
• opportunities to gain accreditation and certificates
• the chance to work with APP and other support agencies
• options to progress in to further education, training or employment
• a chance to learn in a safe environment
