About the service
Nacro Bolton Weekenders Project helps 13-17 year-olds to find alternatives to offending and antisocial behaviour. The service focuses on areas with high levels of offending, truancy and social exclusion, by providing a combination of leisure-based activities and tailored support.
We provide:
- activities [eg, Leisure and outdoor pursuits]
- information and advice about accessing services, benefits and education and training
- help in identifying issues and concerns, and finding solutions
- group work, mentoring and individual support
- team building activities
What will I get out of it?
- a chance to assess and address your use alcohol and the impact it has on you, your relationships and your community
- access to help from expert multi-agency partners within the community i.e. fire brigade, police etc
- a chance to take part in positive alternative activities
- the opportunity to raise your aspirations and look to the future
