About the service

Nacro Bolton Weekenders Project helps 13-17 year-olds to find alternatives to offending and antisocial behaviour. The service focuses on areas with high levels of offending, truancy and social exclusion, by providing a combination of leisure-based activities and tailored support.

We provide:

  • activities [eg, Leisure and outdoor pursuits]
  • information and advice about accessing services, benefits and education and training
  • help in identifying issues and concerns, and finding solutions
  • group work, mentoring and individual support
  • team building activities

What will I get out of it?

  • a chance to assess and address your use alcohol and the impact it has on you, your relationships and your community
  • access to help from expert multi-agency partners within the community i.e. fire brigade, police etc
  • a chance to take part in positive alternative activities
  • the opportunity to raise your aspirations and look to the future
