About the service
Nacro Bolton New Start Programme helps young people who have disengaged with school to return to learning. The service is designed to offer alternatives to mainstream education, by running flexible programmes that provide the most appropriate package for each individual.
We provide:
* imaginative activities designed to inspire and excite participants through formal and informal learning [eg, practical skills, independent living skills, arts & crafts, anger management etc]
* work and assessment processes based on practical and emotional skills
* the option to return to mainstream learning
What will I get out of it?
- a chance to engage with education through alternative means
- a chance to develop your personal and social skills by setting personal goals
- onward access to education, training or employment

Participants must be between: 11 and 17
- those aged 11-17

- roll-on roll-off basis
How long will it last?
1 day per wk (term time) for an accademic year
