About the service
Nacro Broadening Horizons project helps young people aged 14-16 who have disengaged from school to return to learning or move on to work. This project also works with 16-18 year olds who are not in education, employment or training. The service is designed to offer alternatives to mainstream education and training by running flexible programmes that feed the needs of each individual.
We provide:
- imaginative activities designed to inspire and excite participants through formal and informal learning
- work and assessment processes based on practical and emotional skills
- the option to return to mainstream learning or to move on to other learning opportunities such as E2E (entry to employment)
- the opportunity to gain accredited qualifications
What will I get out of it?
- increased self-confidence
- accredited qualifications
- advice and guidance about what you can do next
