About the service
Nacro Moves Project Workington helps young people who have disengaged with school to return to learning or move on to work. The service is designed to offer alternatives to mainstream education, by running flexible programmes that provide the most appropriate package for each individual. We provide:
- imaginative activities designed to inspire and excite participants through formal and informal learning, such as [eg, painting murals, a Fire Service awareness day, an Army Day, cooking skills
- work and assessment processes based on practical and emotional skills
- the option to return to mainstream learning or to move on to other learning opportunities such as E2E
